Verify btcbot yourself
Don’t take our word for it. Here is what to check before you put money in, and where to check it. It takes about ten minutes, and you need nothing but a browser.
1. The contract that executes your trades
Every trade goes through one router contract on BNB Smart Chain: BtcbotRouterV3, at 0x600D173c359DB44aFef10b38cA2D7Cad0A320b28. Its source code is verified on BscScan and published line for line on GitHub. It has no proxy: the deployed code cannot be changed, by us or anyone.
2. What you authorize
Two things, both visible in your wallet and on BscScan:
- an approval on USDT and BTCB for a fixed amount, not an unlimited one;
- a signed mandate (EIP-712) with your limits: maximum per trade, maximum total volume, maximum slippage (2%), maximum fee rate and an expiry date (one year).
Every swap must respect both, and must also clear a minimum price set from two Chainlink feeds (BTC/USD and USDT/USD). The output of each swap goes back to your own wallet in the same transaction: between trades, nothing sits with us.
3. How to take it back
You can revoke at any time, without asking us: set the approval to zero (revoke.cash shows every approval of your wallet) and cancel the mandate on the contract. You can also send your funds to another wallet at any moment. The bot needs nothing from you to let go.
4. Who controls what
The contract has two keys. The owner key is a hardware wallet. It can pause the router, replace the trading key, update the referral recipients, adjust two bounded settings (slippage cap at most 5%, price feed age at most 2 hours) and change the swap venue, but only after a public 48-hour delay. It cannot transfer tokens out of your wallet: every swap must stay within the limits you signed and above the price floor.
The trading key runs our bot on our server. It can only call the swap functions, within those same limits, and every output goes back to your wallet.
5. Audits and reviews
We did not hire an audit firm, by choice. No review can promise a contract without flaws, so we built one that limits what a flaw can cost: your funds stay in your wallet, every swap is bounded by your signed limits and a price floor, approvals are capped and revocable, and the code cannot be changed. The contracts went through internal reviews, several rounds of AI-assisted security review and Slither static analysis. Each finding and its fix is published in the audits folder on GitHub.
6. Your wallet is yours
With MetaMask or another wallet, your keys never leave it. If you joined with an email or a Google account, your wallet was created for you (MetaMask Embedded Wallets): you can export its private key from the Security card of your dashboard and import it into any wallet you like.
7. Real trades, not screenshots
Every trade in your dashboard links to its transaction on BscScan, and the router’s full history is public on BscScan. Our live demo shows a real account, read-only.
8. What we charge
30% of the gain of each winning sale: what the sale brought in, minus what that position cost to buy. A sale without a gain pays nothing, and it is not deducted from later fees. Nothing is ever charged on your capital, there is no subscription, and the network fees of every trade are on us. Out of the 30%, 16% goes to the people who referred you, across five levels (8%, 4%, 2%, 1%, 1%): it comes out of our fee, never on top of it.
9. The risks we cannot remove
- The bitcoin price. The bot buys dips and its accumulation strategies keep each position until they can sell it above its cost (one strategy, which follows Trump’s posts, can also close a position at a loss). While it holds, your wallet’s value moves with the price, and a long fall means a long wait.
- The smart contract. The design limits what a flaw can cost. It cannot make it zero.
- Our operation. Our trading key is online, on our server. Its power is bounded by your limits, and you can revoke it at any time.
- No guarantee. Past trades do not promise future gains. Only put in money you can afford to see go down.
FAQ
Is btcbot safe?
No trading bot is risk-free, and we will not tell you otherwise. What btcbot changes is where the risk sits: your funds stay in your own wallet, every trade must respect limits you sign and a minimum price from Chainlink feeds, and you can revoke access at any time without asking us. The risks that remain are the bitcoin price, the smart contract (limited by design, not zero) and our online trading key (bounded by your limits). Start with an amount you can afford to see go down.
Does btcbot hold my funds?
No. Each swap takes the input from your wallet, trades it on PancakeSwap and sends the output back to the same wallet in the same transaction. Between trades, nothing sits with us.
What exactly do I approve?
A capped approval on USDT and BTCB (a fixed amount, not unlimited) and a signed mandate with your limits: maximum per trade, maximum total volume, maximum slippage (2%), maximum fee rate and an expiry date. Both are visible in your wallet and on BscScan.
How do I stop the bot?
Set the approval to zero (revoke.cash lists every approval of your wallet) and cancel the mandate on the contract. You can also send your funds to another wallet at any moment. None of this needs our permission.
How is the fee calculated?
Sale by sale: 30% of the gain of each sale that brings in more than that position cost to buy. A sale without a gain pays nothing, and it is not deducted from later fees (there is no high-water mark). Nothing is ever charged on your capital, there is no subscription, and the network fees of every trade are paid by btcbot.
Has the contract been audited?
We did not hire an audit firm, by choice. The contract is designed to limit what a flaw can cost, its source is verified on BscScan and public on GitHub, and the internal reviews, AI-assisted security reviews and Slither static analysis are published with every finding and its fix.
